Job Purpose

The successful candidate will represent the company at Airbus Final Assembly Line (FAL) and Delivery Centres for A320 aircraft programmes. The role ensures that aircraft are inspected, monitored, and accepted in accordance with contractual requirements, airworthiness standards, company specifications, and agreed delivery schedules.

 

The position acts as the primary liaison between the airline and Airbus throughout the production, testing, acceptance, and delivery phases, ensuring effective coordination, timely issue resolution, and successful aircraft delivery in compliance with regulatory and company requirements.

Key Result Responsibilities

  • Represent the company onsite at Airbus Final Assembly Line (FAL) and Delivery Centers during aircraft production, testing, acceptance, and delivery activities. 
  • Conduct detailed technical inspections of A320 family aircraft during assembly, pre-delivery, customer acceptance, and handover phases. 
  • Identify, document, and follow up on defects, non-conformities, concessions, open items, and workmanship issues with Airbus teams until closure. 
  • Review, assess, negotiate, and manage production concessions/deviations to ensure compliance with contractual, operational, safety, and regulatory requirements. 
  • Coordinate internal technical evaluation and approval of concessions with Engineering, Quality, CAMO, and Maintenance teams. 
  • Maintain concession tracking logs and ensure timely closure of all approved concessions and outstanding actions. 
  • Liaise with Airbus, cabin vendors, modification providers, and third-party suppliers to ensure timely completion of installation, rectification, and delivery commitments. 
  • Monitor vendor performance, quality standards, installation progress, and compliance with technical specifications and delivery schedules. 
  • Support resolution of vendor-related technical issues, delays, warranty concerns, and outstanding actions during aircraft acceptance and handover. 
  • Review aircraft documentation, including: 
    • Build records 
    • Modification status 
    • SB embodiment status 
    • Cabin configuration compliance 
    • Aircraft technical records 
    • Weight & balance documentation 
    • Delivery documentation packages 
    • Concession and deviation records 
    • Vendor compliance and installation documentation 
  • Coordinate and monitor activities of vendors, suppliers, and Buyer Furnished Equipment (BFE) representatives involved in aircraft delivery programs. 
  • Monitor aircraft assembly progress, milestone achievement, and production quality status. 
  • Coordinate customer inspections, cabin inspections, and acceptance activities in line with contractual and regulatory requirements. 
  • Attend production meetings, quality reviews, concession review boards, vendor coordination meetings, and delivery readiness meetings with Airbus representatives. 
  • Monitor completion of customer requested changes, retrofit actions, vendor installations, and concession-related corrective actions. 
  • Support aircraft ground tests, functional checks, and customer acceptance flights as required. 
  • Ensure compliance with applicable aviation regulations, company standards, and contractual obligations. 
  • Provide regular status reports to management regarding production progress, risks, vendor performance, concessions, quality concerns, and delivery schedules. 
  • Coordinate with Engineering, CAMO, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Operations teams regarding delivery readiness. 
  • Support smooth induction of delivered aircraft into operational service and maintenance programs. 
  • Maintain professional working relationships with Airbus personnel, vendors, suppliers, and regulatory representatives.

Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Aeronautical Engineering, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, or related aviation discipline.
  • Strong technical inspection and troubleshooting capability.
  • Strong understanding of concession/deviation assessment and risk evaluation 
  • Vendor and stakeholder management capability.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple suppliers and delivery workstreams simultaneously.
  • Ability to review and challenge OEM and vendor concessions from operational and maintenance perspectives.
  • High attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Strong reporting and technical documentation skills.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to manage delivery timelines and production pressures.
  • Negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making ability.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and aviation maintenance systems.
  • Ability to work independently in a multicultural environment.
  • Willingness to relocate or work onsite internationally for extended periods. 
  • Ability to travel frequently between FAL and Delivery Centers as required.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.
  • Professional interpersonal and customer-representation skills.
  • Fluent in English Language.

Work Experience

  • 5 - 8 years of aviation maintenance or aircraft delivery experience
  • 3 years of experience on Airbus A320neo family aircraft. (with LEAP engine)
  • Valid Aircraft Maintenance License (EASA Part-66, ICAO equivalent, or national authority license) preferred. 
  • Previous experience in aircraft delivery, OEM liaison, production inspection, quality assurance, concession management, vendor management, or entry-into-service activities preferred. 
  • Experience working with Airbus documentation systems, vendor coordination processes, concession workflows, and technical records is an advantage. 
  • Experience managing cabin suppliers, BFE installations, retrofit vendors, or aircraft modification programs is preferred.
  • Familiarity with EASA/FAA regulations and aviation quality standards. 
  • Excellent knowledge of Airbus A320neo family aircraft systems (with LEAP engine).
  • Strong understanding of Aircraft systems, Production processes, Aircraft acceptance procedures, Airworthiness requirements, Concession/deviation management processes, Vendor and supplier coordination and Airline/MRO operational requirements.
