Job Purpose

1. Provides development expertise across the various streams in the software development domain
2. Assists in the implementation and quality automation of the software products of ISA and in the delivery of software projects and implementation of technologies
3. Understands industry best practices and adopts the emerging technologies agreed

Key Result Responsibilities

1. Delivers software products and components for ISA, provides technology expertise and contributes to technology stack, design, development, deployment and automated testing.
2. In collaboration with product team, project managers, It solutions managers, assists in translating business needs into technical implementations in line with the architectural principles laid down for ISA products. 
3. Supports in testing and implementation of technical solutions, assists in reviewing technical documentation, user guides, training manuals, and system specifications to ensure quality, compliance and completeness
4. Assists in reviewing or giving feedback on specifications and information of the architectural design provided by product team.
5. Supports in identifying the technical tools and languages needed for the design execution in line with the adopted technical and quality standards
6. Ensures the User Interfaces used for the product are in line with requirements and rightly implemented

Key Result Responsibilities-Continued

1. Assists in implementing best practices, new trends, and emerging technologies that bring best value to ISA clients,partners with cross-functional teams to explore ways and means to adopt such technologies.
2. Ensures agreed service levels are met; provides needed status reports to specialists, users, and managers as needed
3. Acts pro-actively to ensure continuous knowledge sharing within ISA to empower other team members.
4. Maintains effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including project managers, product, operations, governance and enterprise development teams
5. Participates in thinking and decision-making with respect to technology to the best of ISA
6. Performs any other additional responsibilities as directed by the line manager

Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)

1. Bachelors degree in IT Engineering,Computer Science,Information Technology or equivalent
2. Fluent in English Language

Work Experience

•   1-2  years of hands-on experience building automated tests for web, API, or mobile applications. Exposure to CI/CD and agile delivery is preferred.
• Working knowledge of at least one automation framework (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, RestAssured, or equivalent).
• Proficient in one programming language used for automation (Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions).
• Solid understanding of HTTP, REST APIs, and relational databases.
• Fluent in English language.
• Able to analyze test failures and distinguish real defects from environmental issues.
• Exposure to version control (Git) and code review practices.
• Understands Agile ceremonies and contributes effectively within a squad.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
• Demonstrates ownership.
