Job Purpose

Design and deliver high-quality, intuitive, and visually engaging front-end interfaces and visual artifacts in accordance with ISA standards, quality requirements, and established design practices. Ensure the efficient and timely delivery of user-focused design solutions that effectively address client requirements and business needs, while enhancing usability, functionality, navigation, and overall user experience. Provide design guidance and support to ensure consistent, effective, and engaging experiences across new and existing airline application software.

Key Result Responsibilities

  • Understands, Modals, Prototypes, Designs and Iterates the visual aspect of existing and new, complex and high-performance airline application software following end user feedback and ISA standards using recommended methodology and tools.
  • Works with technical staff and clients in different locations to understand problems with software and resolve them.
  • Plan, organize and manage tasks while providing feedback to junior design team members to best suite the demands of the projects.
  • Resolves customer complaints related to design and responds with suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
  • Participates with the development team to demonstrate software to stakeholders.
  • Coordinates with team lead on workload and assignments and work in agile environments.

  • Provides regular status of each assigned tasks and escalate as necessary.
  • Provides assistance and educating to other team members in area(s) of design, design techniques, design tools and methodology.
  • Collaborate with the other members in identifying and improving both professional and personal skills to suit the demands of the company goals.
  • Learns and be acquainted to the latest technologies in the market that serves ISA’s development purposes on continuous basis.

People Management: 

  • Provides direction, coaching and guidance to team members for their career and professional development.  
  • Creates a conducive working environment to build and sustain a performance driven, engaged, and committed team.   
  • Ensures people management responsibilities are handled effectively in line with company procedures.

Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field. 
  • Fluent in English Language
  • Knowledge of design systems, user research, usability testing, interaction design, design methodology, techniques and design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator and prototyping tools such as UXPin and InVision. 
  • Strong in in understating clients and their business model. 
  • Team collaboration skills and be able to handle more than one project at a time.
  • Proficient in MS Office.

Work Experience

  • With at least 6-8 years of experience as a User Experience Designer, using the latest methodologies and technologies.
