Job Purpose
The successful candidate will support the line manager in defining, developing, implementing, maintaining, and monitoring policies, procedures, manuals, and best practices across Engineering and/or Maintenance systems throughout the network. The role ensures alignment with business requirements while maintaining full compliance with airline standards and procedures.
The position contributes to the continuous improvement of planning and maintenance processes, supporting operational efficiency, consistency, and regulatory compliance across all applicable functions.
Key Result Responsibilities
- Provides weekly and monthly reports for management team for the workload analysis and Ground Time utilization effectives.
- Leads the planning and scheduling of all short term maintenance activities, including daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance work packages up to A Checks.
- Prepares and reviews short term maintenance forecasts, manpower requirements, and resource availability.
- Ensure rolling on weekly plan is coordinated with MCC, OCC and publishes the plan on daily basis to the concerned stakeholders.
- Provides solutions towards cost control / reductions without compromise on safety and the standards of Air Arabia
- Utilizes data gathered from different sources to conduct analysis Like AMOS and CESAR, evaluate carried tasks, and facilitates actions for improving the efficiency of Airworthiness Functions.
- Recommends corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives based on technical and operational trends.
People Management
- Provides direction, coaching and guidance to team members for their career and professional development.
- Creates a conducive working environment to build and sustain a performance driven, engaged, and committed team.
- Ensures people management responsibilities are handled effectively in line with company procedures.
Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)
- Bachelor’s degree in Aircraft/ Aeronautical/ Aerospace/ Mechanical/ Electronics/ Electrical Engineering or Aircraft License alternately a higher diploma or certificate in a relating field from a recognized university or engineering college combined with needed experience and exposure.
- Training certificates or workshops on “Human Factor” and “Safety” are a must. Training in Aircraft General Familiarization. Experienced in aircrafts airworthiness programs requirements and regulations, such as CAMO (Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization).
- Very good experience in aircraft maintenance programs systems, software and techniques and their relation to the Continued Airworthiness Program.
- Familiar with rules and regulations of Civil Aviation Authorities, pertaining to the Engineering Maintenance, policies, procedures, and manuals.
Work Experience
- With 7-8 years’ experience in Maintenance planning role, out of which at least 2 years in a senior/ supervisory role.
- On the Job Training (OJT) or post university time spent at an Airline company as a Trainee or in a similar capacity shall be counted for as part of the experience.
- Experience with Airbus 320 aircraft is highly desirable.
