Job Purpose

Conduct flight instruction in accordance with GCAA CAR FCL Rev.5. Exercise instructor privileges for MPL, IR, MPLI and IRI training, ensuring compliance with ATO, AOC and regulatory standards.

Key Result Responsibilities

• Conduct standardization training for MPL, IR and Instructor candidates 
• Ensure compliance with instructor revalidation requirements 
• Deliver MPL competency-based training (multi-crew) as an MPL Instructor (MPLI) 
• Deliver Instrument Rating Instructor (IRI) training to Air Arabia Academy instructors 
• Monitor student performance and manage at-risk cadets 
• Conduct MPL candidate interviews and suitability assessments 
• Participate in Instructor Standardization Meetings (ISM) and calibration sessions  
• Provide feedback for syllabus and training material revisions based on cadet performance trends  
• Contribute to curriculum development for CBTA/MPL/UPRT/AUPRT programs 
• Prepare pre-core briefings for cadets ahead of the flying phase 
• Provide ongoing mentoring, coaching and professional support to cadets 
• Conduct structured progress reviews and escalate at-risk cadets with recommended remedial plans  
• Maintain accurate training records and grade sheets 

Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)

• Valid CPL/ATPL with IR (GCAA CAR FCL)
• Qualified MPLI and IRI; AOC instructional approval (where applicable)
• Valid Class 1 Medical
• English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 5 or higher
• AUPRT qualification (mandatory)
• Strong understanding of aviation regulations, procedures, and best practices for flight training.
• Successfully completed an MPL Instructor training course at a GCAA-approved ATO.
• In-depth knowledge of safety procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Fluent in English (Arabic and other languages are an advantage).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Training and evaluation skills.
• Data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Resource management skills.
• Knowledge of GCAA rules and regulations.
• Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against business strategy and set KPIs.

Work Experience

• Minimum 500 flight instructional hours
• Compliance with CAR FCL recency requirements
