Job Purpose
Acts as the technical architect and integrator within the Solutions Team, responsible for designing, implementing, and governing how internal and external systems connect and exchange data across the Air Arabia Group. Combines strategic system architecture with hands-on integration development, ensuring applications, platforms, and data pipelines work together securely, efficiently, and at scale. This role bridges business technology roadmaps with real-world execution — delivering automation, interoperability, and digital acceleration through smart integrations and sound architectural design.
Key Result Responsibilities
- Systems Architecture & Design
- Design and document integration blueprints for core business systems (CRM, ERP, Ops, Analytics).
- Define API standards, data models, and governance for system interoperability.
- Establish and maintain architecture diagrams, standards, and reusable integration templates.
- Hands-On Implementation
- Develop and deploy integrations using methods such as but not limited to REST APIs, webhooks, and automation platforms or custom Python/Node scripts.
- Build and maintain data pipelines and ETL jobs to ensure data synchronization and accuracy.
- Prototype new connections and validate architecture concepts before scale-up.
- Automation & Optimization
- Identify manual processes suitable for automation and deliver efficient workflow solutions.
- Continuously monitor system health, performance, and integration stability.
- Implement logging, alerting, and resilience mechanisms for critical interfaces.
- Governance & Security
- Define naming conventions, versioning protocols, and deployment guidelines.
- Ensure data privacy and security standards are applied to all system connections.
- Maintain documentation and technical records for audit and continuity.
- Strategic Planning & Enablement
- Develop the integration roadmap aligned with business and digital strategy.
- Support Solution Managers by translating business requirements into technical integration designs.
- Provide technical mentorship to developers and promote a culture of automation and system thinking.

Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
- Master’s Degree preferred.
- Proficient in Python / Node.js, SQL, and integration tools (e.g., Make, Workato, MuleSoft, Zapier).
- Strong knowledge of API protocols (REST, SOAP, GraphQL) and authentication (OAuth 2.0, JWT).
- Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage).
Work Experience
- 8+ years in technology architecture or integration engineering roles, including hands-on experience with system connectivity and automation.
- Proven experience building and maintaining system integrations in multi-platform environments (ERP, CRM, Ops, Analytics).
- Strong understanding of data flows, architecture patterns, and API governance.
- Skilled in problem diagnosis, debugging, and performance optimization across complex systems.
- Demonstrated ability to balance strategic design with practical execution.
- Experience in aviation, logistics, or technology platform environments preferred.
