Job Purpose

  • Acts as consultant and business partner to the HR across the Air Arabia Group, providing and implementing HR technology solutions across the HRMS landscape.
  • Owns end-to-end delivery and functional governance for SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) as the system-of-record, while ensuring cross-platform readiness and outcomes across integrations, automation platforms, data/analytics dependencies, and IT security/compliance requirements.
  • Ensures solutions are scalable across the Group tenant and deliver measurable operational improvement and user adoption.

Key Result Responsibilities

  • Leads discovery and solution definition with HR stakeholders; translates business requirements into scalable system designs, recommending standardization and simplification where required to reduce operational complexity.
  • Takes functional ownership of SuccessFactors Employee Central across the Group tenant, including configuration governance and design leadership for:
    • EC Core HR processes and foundation data model
    • EC Position Management
    • MDF objects and workflows
    • Business Rules (validations/derivations/routing controls)
    • Intelligent Services (event-based automation, triggers, notifications)
  • Acts as functional owner for integration outcomes; works with middleware/technical teams to validate mapping/specifications, test end-to-end, and ensure correctness of inputs/outputs in production (reconciliation, exception handling, and controlled fixes).
  • Coordinates solution dependencies beyond SuccessFactors to ensure end-to-end delivery to work on supporting upstream and downstream technologies.
  • Co-owns HRMS governance in coordination with the Payroll Solution Lead, ensuring strong controls and audit readiness through:
    • Access discipline and Role-Based Permissions inputs
    • Data privacy-by-design practices and evidence readiness
    • Change governance, documentation standards, and release impact readiness
  • Provides project-first delivery with L3 functional support ownership for complex HRMS issues related to Core HR processes, org changes, mass updates, workflow failures, permission-related issues, and recurring data-quality problems; ensures root-cause fixes rather than repeat workarounds.

  • Uses ITSM and other spolutions for support and project tracking; contributes to SLA discipline, knowledge base creation, and operational reporting.
  • Provides knowledge transfer and enablement to other HRMS team members to build bench strength and reduce single points of dependency.
  • Expected to deliver measurable improvements such as:
    • Stabilization of top recurring EC incidents through permanent fixes and stronger validation controls
    • Delivery of prioritized EC enhancements/automation triggers that reduce manual HR effort
    • Improved governance maturity (documentation pack, test evidence, release readiness, access discipline)
    • Reliable integration outcomes with clear reconciliation approach for critical interfaces.

Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent; Master’s degree is preferred.
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central certification is required.
  • Certifications in supplementary technologies relevant to HRMS delivery (e.g., SAP Integration Suite/CPI, Integration Center, APIs, Azure fundamentals, ITIL) are considered an advantage.
  • PMP certification or other recognized Project/Program Management qualification is preferred.

Work Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in HR technology/HRIS or enterprise application delivery, with strong functional ownership and hands-on delivery exposure in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC).
  • Expert-level working knowledge of at least one additional SuccessFactors area such as Compensation/Variable Pay, Succession & Development, Onboarding 2.0, or similar talent/rewards modules (implementation or major enhancement experience preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead stakeholder workshops, challenge and clarify requirements, drive decisions, and deliver end-to-end outcomes across HR, IT, and shared services teams.
  • Strong depth in EC configuration and governance, including MDF objects/workflows, business rules, data model discipline, and role-based permissions / controls.
  • Proven experience partnering with integration teams to validate interfaces end-to-end; solid understanding of Integration Center, API concepts, mapping/validation, test cycles, and reconciliation practices.
  • Experience supporting complex HR environments (multi-entity, shared services, multi-country) is preferred; aviation/airline exposure is an advantage.
