Job Purpose
The Holiday Consultant represents Cozmo Travel as the primary point of contact for leisure travelers. The role is responsible for designing, promoting, and selling customized domestic and international holiday packages. The objective is to convert customer inquiries into confirmed bookings while delivering exceptional customer experiences, achieving sales targets, and strengthening brand loyalty.
Key Result Responsibilities
Sales & Conversion
- Handle holiday inquiries received through multiple channels including web leads, chat, phone calls, and corporate references.
- Convert inquiries into confirmed bookings by understanding customer needs and proposing suitable holiday solutions.
- Achieve and exceed assigned monthly sales and revenue targets.
- Up sell and cross-sell relevant holiday products and value-added services.
Itinerary Design & Product Planning
- Design customized domestic and international itineraries including flights, hotels, transfers, sightseeing, and experiences.
- Recommend destinations, travel routes, and experiences based on customer preferences, budgets, and travel trends.
- Promote Cozmo Travel’s exclusive fixed-departure and seasonal holiday packages.
Product Knowledge & Market Awareness
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international and domestic destinations.
- Stay informed about visa requirements, travel regulations, airline policies, and destination updates.
- Continuously update knowledge of supplier offerings, pricing, and promotions.
Promotional Activities
- Actively participate in promotional events and roadshows.
- Engage with potential customers and partners during events to promote services.
Key Result Responsibilities - Continued
Operational Excellence
- Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to operational efficiency.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all operational tasks.
- Support initiatives aimed at enhancing customer experience and service quality.
- Prepare regular reports and dashboards on major KPI’s, as agreed with management.
Booking & Documentation:
- Manage the complete booking lifecycle from confirmation to travel completion.
- Coordinate payments, issue vouchers, and ensure accurate documentation.
- Assist customers with visa documentation and travel-related paperwork.
Customer Experience & Support:
- Provide end-to-end customer support before, during, and after travel.
- Proactively address customer concerns and resolve issues to ensure a seamless travel experience.
- Maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)
- Graduate in Travel, Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency in GDS systems (Amadeus and/or Galileo).
- Strong communication skills with fluency in English.
- Good negotiation, presentation, and customer-handling skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong sales orientation with customer-first mindset.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented approach.
Work Experience
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in leisure travel sales or a similar role with a proven sales track record.
- Experience using online travel booking engines.
