Job Purpose
Responsible to uplift agile delivery across multiple squads by coaching Scrum Masters, facilitating program-level agile practices, and resolving cross-squad impediments. Acts as the senior agile partner to Engineering Leads and Product Managers, ensuring a predictable flow of value from discovery to release. Champions continuous improvement, delivery transparency, and DORA-aligned maturity across ISA’s software engineering function.
Key Result Responsibilities
Multi-Squad Facilitation
- Own facilitation excellence across a cluster of squads, coaching junior Scrum Masters on ceremonies and practices.
- Run program-level cadences including cross-squad dependency reviews and release readiness checkpoints.
- Maintain program-level transparency on commitments, risks, and dependency chains.
Impediment Resolution
- Resolve cross-squad impediments, escalating to Engineering and Product leadership with clear options.
- Drive dependency management with Group programs, vendors, and peer delivery teams.
- Own program risk logs and mitigation plans.
Coaching & Agile Maturity
- Coach Scrum Masters and squads on Scrum, Kanban, and agile engineering practices.
- Partner with Tech Leads and Product Managers on flow, slicing, and delivery cadence.
- Champion DORA metrics and continuous improvement across the cluster.
Key Result Responsibilities-Continued
Metrics & Reporting
- Own delivery health reporting for the cluster, including throughput, predictability, and risk.
- Contribute cluster signals to the HoSE engineering scorecard.
Strategic Improvement
- Drive cluster-level improvement initiatives aligned with the 2026 engineering maturity roadmap.
- Represent agile delivery in cross-functional forums and HR/talent conversations.
People Management:
- Provides direction, coaching and guidance to team members for their career and professional development.
- Creates a conducive working environment to build and sustain a performance driven, engaged, and committed team.
- Ensures people management responsibilities are handled effectively in line with company procedures.
Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Fluent in English Language
- Deep working knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and scaling approaches used at ISA.
- Good understanding of modern software delivery practices (CI/CD, trunk-based, feature flags).
- Skilled at DORA metrics analysis and delivery-health diagnosis.
- Excellent facilitation, conflict-resolution, and negotiation skills.
- Strong coaching, mentoring, and servant-leadership practice.
- Effective stakeholder-management with senior business and engineering leaders.
- Data-literate, able to translate program metrics into actions.
- Demonstrates consistent uplift of agile maturity and delivery predictability.
- Fluent in English Language.
Work Experience
- With 8-10 years of experience in agile delivery with at least 2 years coaching other Scrum Masters or leading multi-squad programs.
- Advanced agile certification (PSM II, SAFe, Kanban) is preferred.
- Strong hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and program reporting.
