Job Purpose

Completes the approved Airbus A320 theoretical and practical training program leading to type endorsement and company authorization.

Performs supervised maintenance training activities in accordance with ECAR 145 requirements, approved maintenance data and Air Arabia procedures.

Key Responsibilities

1. Successfully completes the applicable Airbus A320 theoretical and practical type training, examinations and assessments within the established schedule.  
2. Maintain accurate practical training worksheets, task records and submit it to the quality for review and certification.
3. Perform assigned maintenance, inspection, testing and troubleshooting tasks under authorized supervision.
4. Use approved maintenance data, tools, parts and GSE correctly.
5. Complies with all safety requirements, human factors principles, mandatory precautions and approved maintenance procedures.
6. Maintain satisfactory attendance, performance and professional conduct.
7. Does not exercise certification privileges or issue a Certificate of Release to Service unless and until company authorization have been formally granted.

Qualifications and Skills

• Holds a valid ECAA Aircraft Maintenance LWTR.
• Successfully complete all required training, examinations and company’s technical assessment.
• Acceptable technical, English, computer, communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work shifts and meet operational requirements.
• Ability to obtain the required airport security pass.

Training Commitment

• Attend and successfully complete all training phases and assessments.
• Submit the type endorsement application within the agreed timeframe.
• Complete the company authorization process

• Fulfil the applicable training or service commitment.
